Comments

When visitors leave comments on the website, we collect the data as being shown in the comment, the IP adress of the visitor and the browser user agent to help detect spam.

An anonimised string, made on the basis of your e-mailadress (called a hash) can be sent to the Gravatar service if you use this. The privacy policy page is here to be found: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After your comment is approved, your profile picture will be publicly visible in the context of your reaction.

Donations

Our donation page is developed with Mollie software. Personal data that for the purpose of our service is made available, will be shared with this party. Mollie is granded access to your data to offer us (technical) support; they will never use your data for another purpose. Mollie is -on basis of the agreement we have with them- obliged to take appropriate measures.

This safety measures consist of the application of an SSL-encryption and a strong password policy. Mollie uses cookies to collect technical information concerning your use of the software; no personal data is being collected or saved. Mollie reserves the right to share collected data within the own concern to improve the service further on.

E-mail

We use webhosting and e-mail services from Strato. Strato processes personal data on behalf of us and will not use your data for own purposes. This party does use meta data about the use of services. These are not personal data. Strato has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent loss or unauthorized use of your personal data. On ground of the agreement, Strato is obliged to maintain confidentiality.

Our website uses Mailchimp, a third party that handles e-mail traffic from our website and the sending of any newsletters. All confirmation emails you receive from our website and web forms are sent via the Mailchimp servers. Mailchimp will never use your name and e-mail address for its own purposes. At the bottom of every e-mail that has been automatically sent through our website you will see the “unsubscribe” link. If you click on this, you will no longer receive e-mail from our website. Your personal data is stored securely by Mailchimp. Mailchimp uses cookies and other internet technologies that provide insight into whether emails are opened and read. Mailchimp reserves the right to use your data to further improve the service and to share information with third parties in that context.

Media

If you are a registered user and upload images to the site, you must avoid uploading images with EXIF GPS location information. Visitors to the website can download the images from the website and view the location data.

Contact forms

In accordance with the AVG and the other relevant legislation, we do not store your personal data for longer than is necessary for the realization of the purposes for which it is collected or processed. Cookies

When you leave a comment on our site, you can indicate whether your name, your e-mail address and website may be stored in a cookie. We do this for your convenience so that you do not have to enter this information again for a new response. These cookies are valid for one year.
